UI/UX Designer - Internship (unpaid)

About the role: We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented UI/UX Designer Intern to join our team. You will work closely with our product and development teams to design user-centric interfaces and experiences for our web and mobile applications. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced and collaborative environment. Key Responsibilities: Assist in designing wireframes, prototypes, and user interface specifications Conduct user research and usability testing to gather feedback Collaborate with developers and product managers to implement designs Support in creating design assets (icons, illustrations, UI components) Maintain and contribute to our design system and style guide Stay updated with design trends and tools Requirements: Degree/diploma in Design, HCI, Computer Science, or a related field Basic knowledge of design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or similar Understanding of user-centered design principles and best practices Good communication and teamwork skills A portfolio of design work (academic or personal projects acceptable) Preferred Qualifications: Familiarity with HTML/CSS is a plus Experience with user research and testing methods Passion for improving user experiences What You’ll Gain: Real-world experience in UI/UX design projects Mentorship from experienced designers and developers Opportunity to contribute to live products Letter of recommendation upon successful completion Note: Internship is unpaid for 6 months.
