Job Description

We are looking for a talented and creative Freelance UI/UX Designer to join us on a project basis. The ideal candidate is a design enthusiast with a strong command of Figma and a proven track record in designing beautiful and functional mobile and web applications.

You will be responsible for the entire design cycle—from understanding user needs and creating wireframes to designing pixel-perfect interfaces and collaborating with developers for a flawless implementation.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with product managers and developers to understand project requirements and user needs.
• Conduct user research and competitor analysis to inform design decisions.
• Create user flows, wireframes, and interactive prototypes to visualize design concepts.
• Design high-fidelity, pixel-perfect user interfaces for mobile and web applications using Figma.
• Establish and maintain design systems, style guides, and component libraries.
• Iterate on designs based on user feedback and usability testing.
• Ensure all designs are responsive, accessible, and aligned with modern UI/UX best practices.
• Prepare and hand off detailed design specifications to the development team.

Must-Have Qualifications & Skills

• Proven experience as a UI/UX Designer, with a strong portfolio showcasing your design process.
• Expert-level proficiency in Figma is non-negotiable.
• Demonstrable experience in mobile and web app design.
• A solid understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies.
• Ability to create wireframes, user stories, user journeys, and prototypes.
• Strong visual design skills with a keen eye for typography, color, layout, and hierarchy.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to articulate design decisions clearly.
• Self-motivated, able to manage time effectively, and meet project deadlines in a freelance capacity.

Good to Have

• Basic understanding of front-end development (HTML/CSS) to ensure design feasibility.
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
• Knowledge of animation and micro-interactions.
