UI Design Lead

At Kotak811, we believe User Interface design is crucial because it serves as the bridge between users and technology, ensuring accessible and user-friendly interactions with digital systems, ultimately enhancing usability and user satisfaction. We are looking for a UI Design Lead to join our Design Team. As part of the team, you will collaborate with the Product, Tech, and various other teams. Working closely with UX Designers to develop a world-class digital product for our users. You'll thoughtfully design experiences to help our users navigate through our products, ensuring a high degree of intuitiveness and satisfaction.

Role

• As a design lead, you will take complex scenarios and convert them into simple, fluid, and delightful experiences, drive innovation through visual, interaction, and information design
• You will be working and co-creating with talented and diverse individuals within the organization
• You will drive projects in the design team from planning to managing projects, people and processes
• You will be required to set design directions for new product initiatives while understating the platform’s design language system
• You will be working closely with the tech team to optimise the front-end experience
• You will be expected to deliver great outputs and set better standards of design and collaboration
• You are expected to design understanding data and systems

Preferred Candidate

• 9+ years of UI design experience. A portfolio of samples that demonstrate your skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to be able to articulate your ideas with various stakeholders
• A passion for crafting products for the Indian audience while competing globally
• An eagerness to use research and metrics to discover the most effective visual language for every context and to measure the impact of your work on furthering customer and product goals
• The ability to strategically prioritize multiple projects and to decide where your efforts will have the most impact
• A bachelor’s degree or higher in product design, industrial design, or information design from a reputable university
