Job Description

MitKat is looking to place a TTCC Executive for its Global IT MNC Client. This position will be an embedded position. The TTCC Executive will ensure the smooth functioning of transport services in adherence to established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring transport issues, logging alarms, creating incident reports, and promptly responding to requests, including escalation when necessary. Additionally, they will oversee external physical and geopolitical threats that may impact transport operations, ensuring proactive measures are in place to mitigate risks.

Key Responsibilities

Monitoring Compliance: Monitor transport operations closely, ensuring compliance with established SOPs and protocols. Identify deviations from SOPs and promptly address issues to maintain operational integrity. Conduct regular audits and checks to verify adherence to safety and regulatory requirements.
Incident Reporting Response: Log alarms and create detailed incident reports in accordance with predetermined procedures. Notify shift leads promptly of any alarms or incidents, providing relevant information and updates. Respond to call-in requests from personnel or stakeholders, triaging issues and escalating as per the defined process.
Escalation Procedures: Follow established escalation procedures to ensure timely resolution of critical issues. Assess the severity and impact of incidents, escalating to appropriate stakeholders as necessary. Maintain communication channels with relevant teams and stakeholders to facilitate efficient resolution of escalated issues.
Threat Monitoring Mitigation: Monitor external physical and geopolitical threats that may pose risks to transport operations. Stay informed about local and global events, assessing potential impacts on transport infrastructure and services. Collaborate with security teams to develop strategies for mitigating identified threats and enhancing transport security.

Qualifications Skills (Required)

bachelors degree in Logistics, Operations Management, or a related field preferred
Experience of 2-4 years in a similar role, preferably in transport operations, logistics, or emergency response
Strong understanding of transport operations and associated SOPs, with a focus on safety and compliance
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to effectively manage multiple tasks and priorities
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact confidently with stakeholders at all levels
Proven ability to remain calm and composed under pressure, especially during incident response scenarios
Familiarity with incident management systems and tools for logging and tracking incidents
Knowledge of geopolitical factors and their potential impact on transport operations is desirable
