Job Description

As a Travel Operations Sr. Manager within our organization, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the end-to-end travel operations. Your role will involve planning, coordinating, and executing travel logistics for clients and internal teams to ensure cost-efficiency, customer satisfaction, and the smooth delivery of travel services. You will need to demonstrate strong organizational skills, vendor management experience, and a dedication to delivering seamless travel experiences. Your key responsibilities will include: Operational Management: - Supervising day-to-day travel operations such as flights, accommodations, ground transport, visa processes, and travel insurance. - Ensuring that all travel arrangements align with budget, timelines, and client expectations. Vendor & Partner Coordination: - Managing and negotiating with travel suppliers such as airlines, hotels, transport agencies, and DMCs. - Building and maintaining strategic partnerships to enhance service delivery and pricing. Team Leadership: - Leading a team of travel coordinators and executives by assigning responsibilities and monitoring performance. - Providing training and mentorship to uphold high service standards. Client Handling: - Serving as a point of contact for high-value clients and key stakeholders. - Proactively and effectively resolving operational issues or travel disruptions. Technology & Systems: - Utilizing travel management software and tools to streamline processes. - Monitoring and ensuring accurate documentation, invoicing, and reporting. Compliance & Risk Management: - Ensuring compliance with company policies, travel regulations, and safety protocols. - Staying informed about global travel advisories and restrictions. Qualifications & Experience: - A Bachelor's degree in hospitality, Travel Management, Business Administration, or a related field. - Minimum of 7 years of experience in travel operations, with a preference for MICE, sports travel, or corporate travel. - Strong knowledge of travel platforms (e.g., GDS, Amadeus, Sabre) and travel laws/regulations. - Experience in international travel logistics and group movements. - Demonstrated team management and leadership skills. Key Skills: - Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities. - Excellent communication and negotiation skills. - Strong problem-solving and crisis-management capabilities. - High attention to detail and a commitment to service excellence. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office and travel software platforms. Preferred Attributes: - Experience in events, group tours, or incentive travel would be advantageous. - Flexibility to travel and work irregular hours during events or tours. - Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
