Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Pune for a Travel Consultant. The Travel Consultant will be responsible for managing and facilitating corporate client's travel arrangements, including planning and booking travel itineraries, accommodation, and transportation. The role also involves providing excellent customer service, handling reservations, and ensuring smooth travel experiences for corporate clients.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Contribute to building a team to enhance geographical operations. Arrange travel for corporate groups and secure special group rates for airlines and hotels at the best price.

• Arrange all travel-related services such as Airline Ticketing, rail, car, Hotel booking, airport transfers any other accommodations requested by the client.

• Understand, manage, and execute use of upgrades and loyalty programs including follow-through to ensure services were delivered.

• Have the knowledge to select and recommend foreign carriers for safety and reliability and make special arrangements to accommodate international flight schedules and time zones.

• Ability to work outside regular shifts during special events or times of crisis.

• Create and deliver compelling proposals and presentations highlighting the advantages of Travsack's MICE products and services.

• Identifying potential clients, understanding their requirements and creating pipelines for business.

• Stay updated on market trends and competitor activities, adjusting sales strategies for a competitive edge.

• Effectively manage proposals and finances to achieve company's goal while controlling costs.

Qualifications

• 1-2 Years of Experience in Travel Consulting and Travel Management
• Skills in Travel Arrangements and Reservations
• Excellent Customer Service skills
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Familiarity with travel booking systems and software
• Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Travel Management, or related field is preferred
