About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Sales Support & Travel Consultant to join our dynamic team in the travel industry. The ideal candidate will play a key role in assisting the sales team, supporting clients with travel-related queries, preparing customized itineraries, and ensuring smooth operations from enquiry to booking. This position is perfect for someone passionate about travel, sales, and delivering excellent customer service.

Key ResponsibilitiesSales & Client Handling

  • Assist the sales team in managing enquiries, leads, and follow-ups.
  • Handle client queries via phone, email, or in person, and provide suitable travel solutions.
  • Prepare and present quotations, itineraries, and package options tailored to client needs.
  • Convert leads into confirmed bookings while maintaining strong client relationships.
  • Support corporate, group, and FIT (Free Independent Traveler) bookings.

Operations & Coordination

  • Coordinate with suppliers, DMCs (Destination Management Companies), airlines, hotels, and transport vendors.
  • Ensure accurate documentation (invoices, confirmations, vouchers, tickets, etc.).
  • Track bookings and assist in resolving operational issues.
  • Maintain updated knowledge of travel destinations, visa requirements, and travel guidelines.

Support & Administration

  • Maintain client databases, enquiry logs, and sales reports.
  • Assist in preparing promotional material for sales campaigns.
  • Support senior consultants in group tour operations and fixed departures.
  • Provide after-sales service and ensure customer satisfaction.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent negotiation and persuasion abilities.
  • Knowledge of domestic & international destinations, travel products, and packages.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and CRM tools.
  • Problem-solving attitude with attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask and work under pressure.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Tourism, Hospitality, Business, or related field.
  • 1–3 years of experience in sales support, travel consulting, or operations (travel industry preferred).
  • Freshers with a passion for travel and strong communication skills may also apply.
