Travel Consultant

We are seeking an experienced and customer-oriented Travel Consultant to join our Kerala branch. The ideal candidate will have a passion for travel, possess strong destination knowledge, and demonstrate the ability to create personalized travel packages that exceed our clients" expectations. As a Travel Consultant, your responsibilities will include planning, designing, and selling domestic and international travel packages. This involves coordinating flights, accommodations, tours, and other services. You will be expected to offer expert advice on destinations, visa requirements, travel insurance, and transportation options. Handling customer inquiries via phone, email, and in-person consultations is a key part of the role, along with staying up-to-date on travel regulations, industry trends, and promotional offers. Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients to encourage repeat and referral business is essential. Additionally, negotiating with suppliers to secure the best deals for customers, processing bookings, issuing tickets, and efficiently managing changes or cancellations are crucial tasks. Should any travel-related issues or complaints arise, you will be expected to address them with professionalism. The successful candidate should have a minimum of 2 years of proven experience as a Travel Consultant or in a similar role within the travel industry. A solid understanding of popular domestic and international destinations is required, along with proficiency in travel booking systems such as Amadeus, Galileo, Sabre, or similar platforms. Strong communication, sales, and customer service skills are essential, as well as the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Fluency in English and Malayalam is necessary, while knowledge of additional languages will be advantageous.
