Job Title: Travel Sales Consultant

Location: Kolkata, West Bengal

Employment Type: Full-time

We are seeking an enthusiastic, results-driven Travel Sales Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for travel, exceptional sales acumen, and in-depth knowledge of the travel industry. This role is crucial for driving revenue by effectively selling our diverse portfolio of domestic and international tour packages and creating personalized, compelling travel itineraries for our clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sales & Revenue Generation:
  • Proactively engage with leads (in-person, phone, email, etc.) to understand their travel needs and preferences.
  • Achieve and exceed monthly/quarterly sales targets for domestic and international tour packages.
  • Effectively present, upsell, and cross-sell additional travel products and services (e.g., travel insurance, premium excursions).
  • Itinerary Planning & Product Knowledge:
  • Design and customize detailed, attractive, and cost-effective travel itineraries, including flights, accommodation, transport, and activities.
  • Maintain an expert-level knowledge of our domestic and international destinations, packages, suppliers, and industry trends.
  • Client Relationship Management:
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships by providing personalized consultation and excellent customer service from initial contact through post-travel follow-up.
  • Handle client inquiries, booking modifications, and unexpected travel issues with professionalism and efficiency.
  • Administration & Reporting:
  • Accurately process bookings, payments, and documentation using our CRM and booking systems.
  • Track sales activity, customer data, and pipeline health, reporting on progress to the Sales Manager.
  • Ensure compliance with all company policies, travel regulations, and payment procedures.

Qualifications and SkillsRequired

  • Proven sales experience with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets, preferably in the travel, hospitality, or high-value service industry.
  • Demonstrable knowledge of the global travel landscape, including major domestic destinations and popular international travel routes/markets.
  • Experience in creating and customizing detailed, multi-day itineraries for diverse client segments.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and reservation systems.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From ₹10,000.00 per month
