• Marketing for students in Transport
• Preparation of routes / time charting/Bus Fees
• Including Route Maps/Stop-wise Time chart of routes.
• Determining requirement of Buses (Own & Hired). Locating Transport contractors and negotiating rates and requirements.
• Completion of all RTO related formalities
• Including Bus paneling. Obtention of Fitness & Permit from RTO
• Credit Tie-up arrangements with Petrol Bunkers and Repair workshops
• Allocation of students in Bus Routes, determining school timings etc.. Preparation of Bus Capacity Utilisation
• Ensure Driver, Lady attendant, conductor are present inside the Bus in Uniform.
• Periodical checking of Fire Extinguishers/First Aid Kits including stepneys and tools.
• Ensure that doors are closed as soon as Bus is in Motion at every route time for each Bus.
• Ensure Lady attendants take and maintain daily attendance of students, travelling.
• To ensure that Route Maps / List of students and documents related to the Bus is inside the Bus at all times.
• Periodical checking of CCTV cameras, GPS systems, Speed Governors and all other electronic gadgets incl. Fire extinguishers and Medical Aid kits.
• Ensure internal/external cleaning of buses
• Condition of Bus Panelling/Flexes.
• Payment of RTO Taxes, Obtention of Permits, Fitness certificates, P.U.C., Insurance.,etc of Buses.
• Maintenance & Repairs to Buses. Major repairs to be done through Insurance.
• Repairs to be carried out on Real time basis without Loss of Time.
• Ensure monitoring Road Traffic and ease congestion. Drivers to be instructed to comply with all Traffic regulations.
• Ensure correct parking of Buses within School premises. Arrange for safe and secure Bus parking outside premises (if need be). Buses should necessarily be securely locked at all times, after school hours.
• Maintenance of Date Record of Tyres / Batteries.
• Timely rotation of tyres for and charging of Batteries after holidays for longer usage.
• Responsibility for Fuel filling in all Buses.
• Maintenance and scrutiny of daily log books of individual buses.
• Calculation of KmPL regularly to ensure prevention of oil pilferage.
• Timely checking & submission of Diesel Bills for sanction alongwith Fuel statement.
• Checking of all maintenance/Repair Bills
• Checking of all Contractor Bills
• Checking of other Miscellaneous Transport Bills
• Checking of all Petty Cash Payments
• Submission of all above Bills in prescribed format – well in time.
• Bus Fees to be recovered from each student on Ist Term/IInd Term basis in two equal instalments by advance cheques. Facility of Bus to be sanctioned only after recovery of Bus Fees.
• Maintenance of Data of each Bus student in Transport Module Software
• Analysing the Budget and preparation of monthly Audit of each Bus and its cost of operations. Maintaining expense sheet of each Bus.
• To conduct periodical Training sessions for Drivers, Conductors, Lady Attendants in areas of Traffic Regulations, Safety, Fire-Fighting, Medical emergency, driving techniques, maintenance and Attitudinal/Behaviourial training sessions.
• To arrange Transport for all Field Trips / Study Trips / Sports Trips / Picnics and Outdoor activities of the School.
• To submit the Bus Requisition /Vehicle Requisition slips and seek approval of the Director (Transport).
• To prepare and submit all Debit Notes for such Trips and submit the same to Director (Transport).
• List of duties is just illustrative and not exhaustive. Additional job responsibilities may assigned from time to time.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
