Job Description

Job Summary:

Transportation Planner

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct data collection and analysis for transport planning and traffic studies (e.g., traffic counts, O-D matrices).
Support traffic model development and simulations for non-complex projects.
Prepare and review transportation and traffic impact study reports.
Develop circulation, parking, and signage plans.
Coordinate with clients and authorities for technical clarifications.
Ensure high-quality, timely, and cost-effective project deliverables.
Participate in knowledge sharing and attend relevant training programs.

Qualifications & Skills:

Education:
Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related field.
Experience:
Minimum 4 years in transportation planning and traffic engineering with a reputed consultancy.
Software Knowledge:
VISUM, VISSIM, Synchro, SIDRA, AutoTURN, CUBE, HCS, or similar tools.
Skills:
Strong analytical and modeling skills.
Understanding of transport and land-use planning principles.
Excellent written and verbal communication in English (Arabic is an advantage).
