Transport Manager

Position: Transport Incharge
Type: Full-Time

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure smooth daily operation and punctuality of all school transport routes.
• Supervise and coordinate with all drivers and conductors regarding assigned duties, schedules, and routes.
• Ensure that all buses arrive at school on or before the scheduled time (latest by 8:30 AM).
• Maintain a daily attendance sheet and present report of all drivers and conductors to the Director Principal by 6:15 AM.
• Conduct pocket and alcohol checks daily and submit written status reports.
• Ensure all drivers and conductors are in proper uniform, well-groomed, and carry ID cards.
• Monitor GPS tracking and provide real-time updates on bus movement to the admin team.
• Attend to transport-related complaints from parents and ensure timely resolutions.
• Schedule regular maintenance of all vehicles and ensure buses are student-ready every day.
• Strictly ensure no bus is parked in undesignated or unsafe areas.
• Be available at school by 6:00 AM sharp and remain on duty till 4:30 PM.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Proven experience in managing school or institutional transport services.
• Strong leadership and crisis-handling abilities.
• Familiarity with bus route planning, RTO norms, and vehicle documentation.
• Ability to handle logistics efficiently and work with discipline.
• Should have basic computer and smartphone handling skills.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹90,000.00 per month
