Transport Executive

Role & responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate daily transport operations for employees across various shifts.
  
• Plan and optimize pickup and drop routes based on employee addresses and shift timings.
  
• Liaise with third-party transport vendors for vehicle availability, driver deployment, and service quality.
  
• Track vehicle movements using GPS or transport management software.
  
• Maintain transport rosters and schedules as per employee shift rosters.
  
• Handle employee queries, grievances, and feedback related to transport services.
  
• Ensure all safety protocols are followed (e.g., female employee escort policy, night travel safety).
  
• Monitor and validate monthly transport billing from vendors.
  
• Maintain accurate records of vehicle usage, fuel, driver details, and maintenance schedules.
  
• Prepare daily/weekly/monthly reports on transport utilization and costs.
  
• Coordinate during emergencies, delays, or route changes.
  

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Graduate in any discipline (preferred: Logistics, Transport Management, or similar).
  
• 25 years of experience in corporate employee transport operations.
  
• Good knowledge of local geography and traffic patterns.
  
• Proficiency in MS Excel and transport/logistics management tools.
  
• Strong coordination, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  
• Ability to work in shifts and handle high-pressure situations.
  
• Knowledge of compliance requirements (e.g., RTO rules, safety policies).
