Training Placement Officer

The position of Associate/Assistant Manager/Manager Career Services at edept is located in Mira Road, Mumbai and is a full-time role requiring 2-6 years of experience. edept is dedicated to empowering students with global opportunities, fostering academic excellence, and bridging the gap between industry and academia. As part of the role, you will be responsible for fostering strong connections between students and career opportunities in data science, analytics, and management at our partner campus in Mira Road, Mumbai. Your primary responsibilities will include building and maintaining relationships with recruiters, hiring managers, and partner organizations to identify placement opportunities for students. You will collaborate with colleges, universities, and student organizations to promote placement opportunities and enhance student participation. Additionally, as the point of contact for partner institutions and students, you will be required to establish positive relations and create a robust network of potential employers. You will play a key role in the internship and final placements of students by collaborating with recruiters to understand their needs and align them with student profiles. This will involve arranging interviews, coordinating feedback, and facilitating communication between students and recruiters. Keeping records of placement activities, including student placements, employer feedback, and market trends will also be part of your responsibilities. Moreover, you will work closely with academic and administrative teams to align placement activities with academic programs and student requirements. To be successful in this role, you should have a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Education, Business Administration, or a related field. Prior experience in educational institutions, student services, or campus placement programs is preferred. A background in student placement, career counseling, campus recruitment, or talent acquisition is advantageous. Strong communication, mentoring, and organizational skills are essential, along with the ability to work independently and utilize technology effectively. Proficiency in MS Office, Google Workspace, self-motivation, empathy, and a commitment to supporting student career success are also key attributes for this role.,
