Trainer (Civil)

Role Overview

full-time, hybrid position

Key Responsibilities

1. Training Delivery

• Conduct interactive and hands-on training sessions on:

• BIM

  (Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, or similar)

• GIS Tools

  (ArcGIS, QGIS)

• SketchUp

• STAAD.Pro

• Teach engineering fundamentals, digital construction workflows, and industry best practices.
• Deliver sessions to

  Engineering and Polytechnic students

  across Tamil Nadu.

2. Assessment & Evaluation

• Evaluate student progress using assessments, quizzes, and project reviews.
• Provide clear, constructive feedback and guide learners to improve technical skills.

3. Technical Expertise

• Keep up to date with advancements in:
• Digital Construction
• BIM workflows
• GIS platforms
• Structural analysis tools
• Incorporate new techniques and tools into training content.

4. Content Development

• Create and update training materials, presentations, lesson plans, and practical exercises.
• Adapt content to different learning styles and skill levels.

5. Reporting & Documentation

• Maintain accurate records of:
• Attendance
• Training sessions
• Student performance
• Prepare reports for internal documentation and client institutions.

6. Travel

• Travel to colleges, universities, and training centers across Tamil Nadu to deliver in-person sessions.

Qualifications

Educational Qualification

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in

  Civil Engineering, Architecture, Geoinformatics

  , or a related field.

Technical Skills

• Strong proficiency in:

• BIM Tools:

  Autodesk Revit, Navisworks (or equivalent)

• GIS Platforms:

  ArcGIS, QGIS

• SketchUp

• STAAD.Pro

• Hands-on industry or academic experience in digital construction technologies.

Training & Communication Skills

• Proven experience in teaching, training, or academic instruction preferred.
• Ability to simplify technical concepts for students with diverse learning abilities.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and classroom-management skills.

Other Requirements

• Passion for mentoring students and contributing to their career development.
• Flexibility to travel extensively across Tamil Nadu.
• Immediate joiners preferred.
