Trainee – Junior Inside Sales Executive

Job Summary:

The Trainee – Junior Inside Sales Executive will be responsible for supporting the sales team in identifying business opportunities, generating qualified leads, and maintaining relationships with prospective clients. This role provides hands-on experience in sales operations, customer engagement, and CRM management while developing the skills necessary for a successful career in inside sales.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in identifying and researching potential clients through online and offline sources.
• Make introductory calls and send emails to prospects to generate leads and schedule meetings.
• Maintain and update customer databases and CRM systems with accurate information.
• Follow up with leads to ensure timely conversion and relationship management.
• Understand company products, services, and value propositions to effectively communicate with clients.
• Collaborate with marketing and business development teams to align sales efforts with campaigns.
• Prepare periodic reports on lead generation and sales activities.
• Learn and implement sales strategies under the guidance of senior team members.
• Participate in training sessions to improve product knowledge and sales skills.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills (verbal and written).
• Basic understanding of sales principles and customer service practices.
• Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with CRM tools is an advantage.
• Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and eager to learn.
