Trainee Accountant

About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Trainee Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate should have a strong interest in accounting, a willingness to learn, and a basic understanding of financial concepts. Knowledge of Zoho Books / Zoho Finance Suite will be considered an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in day-to-day accounting operations with accuracy and compliance
• Support in preparing and maintaining financial records and statements
• Assist in handling accounts payable and receivable functions
• Help in generating MIS reports and financial summaries
• Learn and ensure compliance with statutory requirements including GST, TDS, and other regulations
• Provide support in budgeting, forecasting, and internal audits

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Basic knowledge of accounting principles and taxation
• Eagerness to learn Tally accounting software (training will be provided)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good communication and organizational abilities
• Freshers or candidates with up to 1 year of experience are encouraged to apply
