Trainee Accountant

About the Role:

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Trainee Accountant to join our finance team. This position is ideal for recent graduates or candidates pursuing accounting qualifications who wish to build a strong foundation in accounting, taxation, and financial management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in day-to-day accounting operations including data entry, ledger management, and reconciliations.
• Support in preparing financial statements, invoices, and expense reports.
• Help with GST, TDS, and other tax-related filings and compliance.
• Reconcile bank statements and monitor cash flow records.
• Maintain accurate records of financial transactions.
• Assist in monthly and yearly closing of accounts.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external auditors as required.
• Learn and use accounting software such as Tally, Zoho Books, or QuickBooks.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance (or pursuing the same).
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles and MS Excel.
• Familiarity with Tally/QuickBooks/Zoho Books will be an added advantage.
• Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
• Eagerness to learn and grow in a professional finance environment.
