Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Trade Finance Manager located in Chennai. The Trade Finance Manager will be responsible for overseeing trade finance operations, managing letters of credit, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. The role involves analyzing financial data, supporting trading activities, processing trade transactions, and handling various trade finance products.


Qualifications

  • In-depth knowledge of Letters of Credit and Trade Finance products
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in finance
  • Experience in trading and handling trade transactions
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or related field
  • Professional certifications in trade finance or related areas are a plus


Key Responsibilities:


Trade Finance


1.        Issuing, amending, settlement of L/C, BG.

2.        Performing all jobs of SFMS/Swift Operations, LC Advising, EUBB etc.

3.        Negotiating L/C, D/P, D/A, E-BRC Issuance etc.,

4.        Conducting post management like IDPMS/EDPMS, Receipts, BOE/SB follow up.

5.        Making Internal/Regulatory reporting on trade finance (EXIM).

6.        Reviewing and updating trade finance (EXIM) policy and manual.

7.        Continuing to observe the changes in FEMA, master direction of RBI.

FX


1.        Operating of foreign inward/outward remittance.

2.        Conducting post management. Issuance of FIRC.

3.        Reviewing and updating FX policy and manual.

4.        Continuing to observe the changes in FEMA, master direction of RBI.

5.        Create process and manuals according to KEB Hana Bank policy and periodically to be reviewed.

6.        GST, Commissions collection and updating.


Knowledge, Skill and Abilities needed:


1.       Knowledge of corporate financial products, services, policies and procedures.

2.       Knowledge of management principle, practices and regulations (master direction, FEMA, etc.,)

3.       Skill on operating equipment such as PC, software (MS Office, etc) and IT systems.

4.       Ability to communicate with member of team and various business contacts in professional and

courteous manner.

5. Ability to fulfill his/her duties with great moral integrity
