Job Description

You will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining the Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) program in alignment with organizational goals and objectives. This includes establishing TPM policies, procedures, Master Plan, and standards to ensure consistency and best practices across all departments. You will monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of TPM initiatives, making necessary adjustments to optimize performance. Collaboration with various departments such as production, maintenance, quality assurance, and New Product Development (NPD) will be essential to integrate TPM principles into daily operations. Your role will also involve facilitating communication and cooperation among team members to foster a culture of proactive equipment maintenance and continuous improvement. Conducting training sessions and workshops to educate employees on TPM concepts, methodologies, and tools will be part of your responsibilities. You will provide guidance and support to team members to ensure understanding and adherence to TPM practices. Tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) related to equipment reliability, downtime reduction, and maintenance costs, and analyzing data to identify trends, root causes of issues, and opportunities for improvement will be crucial. Prepare regular reports and presentations to communicate TPM progress, achievements, and areas for further focus. Working closely with maintenance teams to develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules based on equipment reliability data and predictive maintenance techniques will be required. You will also support the implementation of autonomous maintenance practices, empowering operators to take ownership of equipment care and minor maintenance tasks. Leading or participating in cross-functional teams focused on implementing lean principles and continuous improvement initiatives is a key aspect of the role. Encouraging a culture of innovation and creativity to optimize equipment performance and efficiency will be part of your responsibilities. Collaborating with external TPM consultants to leverage their expertise in implementing TPM best practices and facilitating the implementation of their recommendations while ensuring alignment with organizational goals and priorities will also be part of your role. Serving as a liaison between internal teams and external consultants, providing necessary support and resources to drive successful TPM initiatives will be crucial. Coordinating training sessions or workshops conducted by TPM consultants to transfer knowledge and build internal capabilities in TPM implementation and sustainment will also be part of your responsibilities. Candidates with a Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Management, or a related field, along with 8-10 years of experience for Diploma holders and 6-8 years for BE holders in TPM implementation, are encouraged to apply. Proven experience in maintenance, reliability engineering, or operations management with a focus on TPM or similar continuous improvement methodologies is required. A strong understanding of TPM principles, tools, and techniques, including autonomous maintenance, planned maintenance, and focused improvement, is essential. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills, with the ability to influence and inspire cross-functional teams, are necessary. An analytical mindset with the ability to analyze data, identify trends, and drive data-driven decision-making is also important.
