Title Specialist, Data Analysis

The WRB Data Technology team at Standard Chartered Bank is seeking talented data professionals with relevant experience who can work in a global environment. As a member of this team, your primary responsibility will be to support data warehousing migration programs, align project timelines to ensure successful delivery, and provide support for data analysis, mapping, and profiling. Your role will involve interpreting use case requirements, designing target data models, and profiling data attributes to assess data quality and provide remediation recommendations. Additionally, you will be responsible for data modeling to enhance data integration within the data warehouse platform. Working independently, you will engage consultants and business analysts from other teams, escalate issues in a timely manner, and provide subject matter expertise to balance time-critical tasks with longer-term sustainability goals. You will collaborate with Chapter Lead and Squad Lead to lead projects successfully, manage stakeholders, transform business requirements into data requirements, design data models, create data mapping templates, and support data acceptance testing. Furthermore, you will be involved in providing direction on solutions from a standard product/architecture perspective, participating in key decision-making discussions, and supporting System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT). To excel in this role, you should have 6-8 years of experience in the banking domain, basic understanding of tools like Clarity, ADO, Axess, and SQL, good communication and stakeholder management skills, and a graduate degree in computer science or a relevant field. Knowledge of writing complex SQL scripts, Base SAS, retail banking, wealth lending data, and data management and governance is highly desirable. You should be quick to learn, detail-oriented, and have experience in business analysis or data analysis roles. In addition to technical competencies, you are expected to display exemplary conduct, live by the Group's Values and Code of Conduct, and adhere to governance processes and policies. You will work closely with key stakeholders, including Country Credit Risk, Country Finance, WRB Product Owner, and Process Owners.
