About the Role

As a GDS Ticketing Agent, you will play a vital role in assisting customers with their travel needs. Your responsibilities will include booking flights, issuing tickets, handling modifications/cancellations, and providing support for reservation-related inquiries. The goal is to deliver a smooth and seamless travel experience to our customers.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers in booking flights and provide information on available airlines, schedules, and fares.
• Process ticket reservations and issue electronic/paper tickets using Global Distribution Systems (GDS).
• Handle ticket modifications, cancellations, rebookings, and refunds.
• Provide exceptional customer service by resolving customer inquiries and issues.
• Coordinate with airlines and travel suppliers for updated and accurate information.
• Stay informed about industry trends, airline policies, and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, SOPs, and industry regulations.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in ticketing/reservation or the travel industry preferred.
• Proficiency in Global Distribution Systems (GDS) such as Amadeus, Sabre, or Galileo.
• Strong knowledge of airline codes, fares, and flight regulations.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to handle challenging situations calmly and effectively.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹28,000.00 per month
