TGT English Teacher

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, prepare, and deliver lessons in accordance with the school curriculum and academic standards.
• Teach English grammar, vocabulary, literature, and composition to students across assigned grade levels.
• Develop creative and interactive teaching strategies to enhance language learning and comprehension.
• Assess and evaluate students’ progress through assignments, tests, and examinations.
• Provide constructive feedback to students and support their individual learning needs.
• Organize and conduct literary activities such as debates, elocutions, reading clubs, and writing competitions.
• Maintain accurate records of students’ academic performance and attendance.
• Collaborate with colleagues to plan interdisciplinary projects and curriculum improvements.
• Communicate effectively with parents regarding students’ academic and behavioral progress.
• Participate actively in school events, meetings, workshops, and professional development programs.
• Uphold school policies and maintain discipline in the classroom.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in English Literature, English Language, or Education.
• B.Ed. (Bachelor of Education) preferred.
• Proven experience as an English teacher (minimum 2–3 years preferred).
• Excellent command of written and spoken English.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
• Ability to inspire and motivate students to achieve academic excellence.
• Familiarity with modern teaching methods and educational technology.
