Job Summary:

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Textile Merchandiser to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in managing the end-to-end merchandising process — from fabric sourcing and vendor coordination to quality checks and timely delivery. This role requires strong communication skills, a good eye for fabric quality, and a proactive approach to ensure smooth operations between suppliers, vendors, and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate with suppliers, vendors, and manufacturers for fabric sourcing and order follow-ups.
• Inspect and ensure fabric quality as per company and buyer standards.
• Assist in sample development and approvals.
• Maintain records of fabric orders, deliveries, and quality reports.
• Support the production and buying teams with timely updates on order status.
• Negotiate with vendors for cost, lead time, and quality improvements.
• Monitor inventory levels and assist in material planning.
• Handle documentation related to sourcing, quality control, and shipment.
• Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure deadlines are met.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Textile Engineering, Fashion Technology, or a related field.
• 0–2 years of experience in textile merchandising or a similar role.
• Basic knowledge of fabrics, dyeing, printing, and finishing processes.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
