About the Role

Testing Engineer (Mobile & Web)

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts for web and mobile applications.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and system testing to ensure product quality.
• Collaborate with developers, product owners, and business analysts to understand requirements and define test strategies.
• Identify, log, and track defects, ensuring timely resolution.
• Optimize and maintain automation frameworks for scalability and reusability.
• Conduct performance and compatibility testing across different devices, browsers, and operating systems.
• Provide detailed test reports, metrics, and documentation.
• Stay updated with the latest automation tools, trends, and best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

• 4 to 7 years

  of proven experience in

  Automation Testing

  for both mobile and web applications.
• Strong hands-on experience with tools such as

  Selenium, Appium, TestNG, JUnit, or similar frameworks

  .
• Proficiency in

  Java, Python, or JavaScript

  for test automation scripting.
• Experience with

  CI/CD pipelines

  (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab, Azure DevOps).
• Knowledge of bug-tracking tools like

  JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar

  .
• Strong understanding of QA methodologies, testing processes, and SDLC/STLC.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Nice to Have

• Experience in

  API testing

  (Postman, Rest Assured).
• Familiarity with cloud-based testing platforms like

  BrowserStack, Sauce Labs

  .
• Exposure to

  Agile/Scrum methodologies

  .
• Performance testing knowledge (JMeter, LoadRunner).

  Tirunelveli (candidates must be willing to work from Tirunelveli or relocate).
