Description
As a Test Engineer at ENGIE India, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and functionality of our products. Your responsibilities will include: - Developing and executing test cases and test scripts based on product requirements. - Identifying, documenting, and tracking bugs using standard defect tracking tools. - Collaborating closely with the development team to reproduce, isolate, and debug issues. - Designing and developing automation scripts using tools such as Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, or similar. - Performing various types of testing including functional, regression, integration, system, and performance testing. - Maintaining test environments and test data sets. To be successful in this role, you should have: - Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and QA processes. - Experience with automation tools such as Selenium, Postman, JMeter. - Knowledge of version control systems like Git. - Experience in testing APIs and web services (REST, SOAP). - Familiarity with cloud environments such as Azure, AWS, GCP. - Analytical, communication, and troubleshooting skills. - Verbal and written communication skills. - Experience in short release cycles, full software life cycles, and entire SDLC knowledge. - ISTQB or other relevant certification is a plus. Prerequisites for this position include: - Qualification in BE/B Tech/MCA. - Minimum of 4+ years of experience. - Willingness to work both from Pune Office & Remotely depending on position requirement.
