Test Engineer

  B Tech / M Tech (Bachelor of Engineering, Master of Technology)

Responsibilities & Requirements:

• Experience in creating qualification documents such as QTP, QTR, QSAR, and Acceptance Test Procedures for Aerospace components.
• Technical knowledge and experience in Aero - Environmental testing, Structural and Electrical qualification testing.
• Ability to understand the requirements of test standards and write procedures, Qualification Plans, and provide justification for similarity/analysis claims for Aero components.
• Ensure compliance with aerospace standards such as DO-160, RTCA, MIL-STD, AS9100, ARP4754A, ARP4761.
• Support FMEA, FMECA, and reliability predictions as part of risk mitigation.
• Experience in creating compliance matrix and technical design review presentations from customer specifications/requirement documents.
• Knowledge of environmental testing including salt spray, humidity, and altitude simulation.
• Technical knowledge in verification of test data, analyzing test results, failure analysis, test data plots, and test deviations.
• Able to work independently and manage customer calls/meetings for technical discussions.
• Bachelors degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering, 812 years of aerospace industry experience with a strong understanding of product development lifecycle.
• Hands-on experience working with cross-functional teams.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience in customer presentations and technical discussions.
• Experience in pneumatic, hydraulic fuel, or flight control systems is a plus.
• Proficiency in tools like SolidWorks, CATIA, or equivalent is a plus.
