Test Engineer

Role Overview: As a Software Tester at our company, you will be responsible for designing and implementing tests, debugging, defining corrective actions, and writing reusable automated tests to expand test coverage efficiently. You will review system requirements and track quality assurance metrics. Your role will involve testing Rest API, web, and mobile-based applications that reference database back-end systems. Additionally, you will need a strong understanding of STLC and the testing process. Key Responsibilities: - Experience in testing Rest API, web, and mobile-based applications that reference database back-end systems. - Hands-on experience in manual and automation testing with a solid understanding of STLC and the testing process. - Proficiency in Test Management and Defect management tools; knowledge of JIRA and QAC is a plus. - Ability to reproduce, debug, isolate problems, and verify fixes. - Strong SQL knowledge for testing back-end data. - Good understanding of Linux. - Estimating own testing tasks and working productively with minimum supervision while maintaining a positive team attitude. - Experience in load testing with any load test tools is advantageous. - Working experience in any cloud production environment such as AWS, Azure, or Google cloud. Qualification Required: - 2+ years of experience in software testing. - Prior experience in creating test scripts using frameworks.
