Test Engineer

As a Test Engineer, your responsibilities will include developing and implementing manual and automated test cases based on product requirements. You will conduct functional, regression, performance, and usability testing. You will identify, document, and track defects using tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, or TestRail. Working with development teams to reproduce, troubleshoot, and resolve issues is also a key aspect of your role. Additionally, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining test automation scripts using Selenium, Cypress, or similar tools. Integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing is another important task. Collaboration with developers, business analysts, and product managers to ensure high-quality releases is crucial. You will also recommend improvements in testing strategies, tools, and methodologies. Ensuring compliance with ISO, ISTQB, or industry-specific quality standards and maintaining clear and detailed test documentation, reports, and best practices are part of your responsibilities. Your required skills and qualifications include: - Experience in manual and automated testing. - Knowledge of testing frameworks (JUnit, TestNG, PyTest, etc.). - Familiarity with API testing tools (Postman, SoapUI). - Basic programming knowledge in Python, Java, or JavaScript (for automation). - Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. - Excellent communication and teamwork skills. - Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. - ISTQB or relevant testing certification is a plus. Preferred qualifications for this role include experience with performance and security testing, as well as knowledge of cloud-based testing environments such as AWS or Azure.,
