Test Engineer

As a Test Engineer FTT Enterprise Services at Deutsche Bank, your primary role will be to support IT processes related to regional Finance, Compliance, Sales Force Support, and Data Warehouse Services in Germany. The focus will be on delivering stable and high-quality enterprise applications, projects, and services. The vision of the team is to improve project quality and cost efficiency, optimize processes to reduce risks, and continuously enhance services and applications. - Create test strategy and test planning documents based on functional specifications - Ensure sound documentation of all test activities during the test execution phase - Manage the software defect fixing process in collaboration with IT software developers - Gain knowledge in test methodology and functional knowledge within investments and tax processes - Design test cases, create scripts, and execute tests - Develop testing strategies and devise test plans to ensure applications meet business requirements - Provide oversight of testing activities and resources to meet quality standards - Specialize in specific areas of the testing process and relevant tools such as Performance Centre, Quick Test Professional, Quality Centre/ALM, and Jira - Drive the execution of the test strategy and plan, including preparation, execution, analysis, and reporting - Provide product/business expertise to support the testing approach - Implement technical solutions for the testing process, such as test automation, performance testing, or test data provisioning - Review and implement test process improvements - Collaborate with project stakeholders and act as an escalation point for QA & Testing Analysts - Apply Agile techniques and promote Agile values - Demonstrate excellent communication skills, analytical capabilities, and the ability to work in self-organized teams - Articulate and coherent communication skills, both written and oral - Ability to prioritize, organize, and complete tasks effectively - Comfortable communicating with senior management - Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub, BitBucket), Java scripting, and Python - Proficiency in German language is a plus - Fluent in English language - Customer and service orientation, performance and productivity orientation, and analytical problem-solving abilities - Commitment to supporting a high-performance culture, team colleagues, and the Bank's values Deutsche Bank fosters a culture of empowerment, responsibility, commercial thinking, initiative, and collaboration.
