Job Description

Territory Sales Officer (TSO)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets in assigned territory.
  • Appoint, manage, and monitor distributors and their sales performance.
  • Lead, train, and motivate a team of Sales Representatives / Sales Promoters to drive in-market execution and beat plans.
  • Plan and execute beat plans, product placements, and schemes through team coordination.
  • Ensure product availability, visibility, and range in General Trade outlets.
  • Conduct joint fieldwork with team and coach for performance improvement.
  • Implement trade promotions, analyze market intelligence, and provide feedback to management.
  • Monitor distributor ROI, stock levels, order fulfilment, and collection cycles.
  • Maintain accurate reporting (DSR, secondary sales reports, team tracking).

Desired Candidate Profile:

  • Graduate in any stream; MBA in Sales/Marketing is a plus.
  • 25 years of experience in FMCG General Trade Sales (experience in Mumbai market is essential).
  • Proven experience in team management / field force handling.
  • Strong distributor and retailer relationship management skills.
  • Proficient in reporting tools (MS Excel, Google Sheets, CRM apps).
  • Energetic, self-motivated, result-oriented and field-ready.
