Key Responsibilities

1. Sales & Business Development

  • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for commercial vehicles (SCV, LCV, ICV, HCV, Buses).
  • Identify new business opportunities and expand customer base within the territory.
  • Conduct market mapping and competitor analysis to improve strategic positioning.

2. Dealer & Channel Management

  • Manage and support authorized dealers and channel partners to improve sales performance.
  • Ensure dealers maintain adequate stock levels, retail reach, and customer service standards.
  • Provide product training, motivation, and sales guidance to dealer sales teams.

3. Customer Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with fleet owners, corporate clients, transporters, and institutional customers.
  • Conduct customer visits, product demos, and negotiations to close sales.
  • Address customer queries and ensure timely resolution through coordination with service teams.

4. Market Intelligence & Reporting

  • Gather market insights on pricing, competitor activity, customer demand, and product feedback.
  • Track territory performance and prepare regular sales reports for management review.
  • Suggest strategies to increase market share and counter competitor actions.

5. Coordination & Execution

  • Work closely with service, finance, and operations teams to ensure smooth vehicle deliveries and customer satisfaction.
  • Execute marketing initiatives, field campaigns, roadshows, and promotional events to generate leads.
  • Monitor receivables and support credit management processes.

Desired Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Business, or related field (MBA preferred).
  • 3-8 years of experience in commercial vehicle sales or automotive B2B sales.
  • Strong understanding of commercial vehicle products, market dynamics, and fleet operations.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to manage dealer networks and deliver results under pressure.
  • Willingness to travel extensively within the territory.
