Job Description

As a Territory Sales Manager at Ansell, your primary responsibility will be achieving or exceeding targeted sales of Ansell products within the assigned territory and vertical in line with the Ansell strategy. You will work through distributors and end users by facilitating the development of promotional programs, assisting in training distributor sales forces, and promoting the Ansell brands, services, and programs at the end-user level. Your overall objective will be to maximize conversions to the Ansell range, maintain recurrent business, and create a value proposition through end-user loyalty. **Responsibilities & Specific Accountabilities:** - Directly assess, analyze, prioritize, plan, and execute Ansell's end-user business within the designated territory to achieve defined revenue and share objectives. - Formulate monthly sales and conversion plans, interact with peers to enhance vertical knowledge and sales efficiency. - Build and maintain effective stakeholder relationships at site, regional decision-making levels, and with internal colleagues. - Identify and prioritize new business and growth opportunities. - Conduct continuous account profiling with Sales Leaders and key end-users, record data in the CRM system. - Monitor distributor performance and maximize profile with distributor/end-user networks. - Direct sales activities through distributors ensuring effective coverage in geographical areas and key trade segments. - Conduct regular sales meetings with distributors and end-users to inform them of new developments and ensure programs are followed up in the field. - Achieve profit objectives through pricing control and expense management. - Prepare sales plans, budgets, reports, and forecasts in a timely manner. - Work closely with customer service, monitor trade expenditure, and report customer complaints information. - Ensure sales business is conducted within relevant legislation, trading terms, and company policy. - Monitor competitor activities, develop appropriate strategies, and achieve personal development plans. - Assist in special projects as directed by management. - Recommend changes in trade agreements, pricing, discount policies, credit arrangements to capture changing market needs. - Conduct business intelligence hunting, summarizing & sharing key market information/trends on new projects and competitor activities. - Supervise and train distributor staff in Ansell-specific knowledge and procedures. **Core Position Competencies:** - Communication - Personal Effectiveness: Time Management - Personal Effectiveness: Relationship Building - Business Expertise: Customer Focus/Knowledge **Key Position Requirements:** - **Experience:** 7 years+ in Surgical, Medical Device, or Glove industry - **Education:** Graduation + Preferred MBA - **Location:** India-Maharashtra-Navi Mumbai This Territory Sales Manager position at Ansell requires a candidate with a minimum of 7 years of experience in the Surgical, Medical Device, or Glove industry.
