Territory Business Manager

Role & responsibilities

• Achieve Primary and Secondary Sales Targets and build advocacy for our company.

• Responsible for creating Primary Orders from Distributors and generating Secondary Demand from Retailers.

• Understand the causes for product return, unsold stock, demand variation etc. and communicate to upward management.

• Responsible for converting in-active and new distributors into active ones through trade activities.

• Responsible for sharing Season-to-date results with Regional Business Manager for review.

• Ensure timely updation of sales dashboards and trackers.

• Responsible for promotional activities through Farmer events and Field Demonstrations

• Participate in Review-cum planning meetings with MDOs and Regional Managers

• Coach the MDOs through On-the-job Training

Tasks:

• Conduct scheduled calls to Distributors, Retailers and Nurseries and also accompany MDOs in their calls/ visits.

• Visit Distributors to make sales order, collect payments and gather information on competitor's placement.

• Visit Retailers and Nurseries to create advocacy for products and take Sales Orders for one's Distributors.

• Merchandise retail outlets periodically.

• Communicate monthly targets and monthly travel plans to concerned teams.

• Provide Live Tehsil-wise Maps of Retailers to all MDOs.

• Select the plots for promotional activities like Crop Shows, Field Day, Farmer events etc. and organize them with the help of MDOs.
