Territory Business Manager

Purpose:

Key responsibilities:

  • Achieve Primary and Secondary Sales Targets and build advocacy for our company.
  • Responsible for creating Primary Orders from Distributors and generating Secondary Demand from Retailers.
  • Responsible for converting in-active and new distributors into active ones through trade activities.
  • Responsible for sharing Season-to-date results with Regional Business Manager for review.
  • Responsible for promotional activities through Farmer events and Field Demonstrations.
  • Participate in Review-cum planning meetings with MDOs and Regional Managers.
  • Coach the MDOs through On-the-job Training.

Tasks:

  • Conduct scheduled calls to Distributors, Retailers and Nurseries and also accompany MDOs in their calls/ visits.
  • Visit Distributors to make sales order, collect payments and gather information on competitor's placement.
  • Select the plots for promotional activities like Crop Shows, Field Day, Farmer events etc. and organize them with the help of MDOs.
