Job Description

Description

We are seeking a Terraform Subject Matter Expert (SME) with experience in Azure and/or GCP AI Landing Zones to design, implement, and govern scalable, secure, and compliant cloud foundations for AI and data workloads. The role involves building enterprise-grade landing zones using Terraform, enabling AI/ML platforms, and defining cloud governance standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement AI-ready Landing Zones on Azure and/or GCP using Terraform
  • Build reusable Terraform modules for cloud, networking, security, and AI services
  • Establish cloud governance, guardrails, and policies for AI workloads
  • Implement secure networking architectures (VNet/VPC, subnets, private endpoints)
  • Configure IAM, RBAC, service accounts, and identity federation
  • Enable AI/ML platforms and services:
  • Azure: Azure AI Studio, Azure ML, Cognitive Services
  • GCP: Vertex AI, BigQuery, AI Platform
  • Implement data, security, and compliance controls for AI workloads
  • Manage Terraform state, remote backends, and environment isolation
  • Integrate Terraform with CI/CD pipelines
  • Optimize infrastructure for performance, cost, and scalability
  • Collaborate with Cloud, AI/ML, Data, and Security teams
  • Perform code reviews, troubleshooting, and platform optimization
  • Create documentation, standards, and landing zone blueprints
  • Mentor engineers and act as a technical escalation point

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Strong hands-on experience with Terraform (HCL, Modules, Workspaces)
  • Experience building Azure and/or GCP Landing Zones
  • Deep knowledge of:
  • Azure: Subscription management, Management Groups, RBAC, VNets
  • GCP: Organizations, Folders, Projects, IAM, VPCs
  • Experience with AI/ML cloud services (Azure ML / Vertex AI)
  • Strong understanding of cloud security, IAM, and compliance
  • Proficiency with Git and CI/CD tools
  • Strong Linux and scripting skills (Bash / Python)

Good To Have

  • Multi-cloud AI architecture experience
  • Experience with Ansible, Kubernetes, Helm
  • Knowledge of policy as code (Azure Policy, Sentinel, OPA)
  • Experience with data platforms and pipelines
