Job Description

Experience : Minimum 8 years

Preferred Qualification : B.Tech / M.Tech in Civil Engineering from a recognized institution.

Key Responsibilities :

Study tender documents including drawings, specifications, and BOQs.
Prepare cost estimates, rate analysis, and pre-bid queries.
Perform detailed quantity take-offs for various civil works.
Liaise with vendors/subcontractors to obtain accurate pricing and quotations.
Assist in project budgeting, cost control, and valuation of variations during execution.
Analyze tender documents and prepare technical and commercial proposals.
Coordinate with estimation, design, procurement, and project teams to prepare bid submissions.
Monitor tender opportunities and evaluate bid/no-bid decisions.
Ensure all submissions are compliant, timely, and of high quality.
Maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, and vendors.

Requirements

Proven experience in tendering and quantity surveying within the construction/infrastructure sector.
In-depth understanding of civil engineering projects and government/private procurement processes.
Proficient in MS Excel, AutoCAD, and estimation software.
Excellent written and verbal communication along with negotiation skills.
Strong analytical, negotiation, and documentation skills.
Good understanding of standard methods of measurement and contract terms.
