Job Description

Job Title: Bid Manager – GeM Portal

Department: Sales / Business Development / Tendering
Experience Required: 2–6 years (Minimum 2 years hands-on experience with GeM portal preferred)
Work Location: In-Person
Address: Plot No. 77, Sector-57, Phase IV, HSIIDC Industrial Estate, Kundli, Sonipat, Haryana – 131028, India
Salary Range: ₹15,000 – ₹35,000 per month (Based on experience)

Job Summary:

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Bid Manager with experience managing bids and tenders on the Government e-Marketplace (GeM) portal. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying relevant tenders, coordinating submissions, ensuring compliance, and managing end-to-end bidding processes.

Key Responsibilities:GeM Portal Management:

  • Manage company profile and listings on the GeM portal.
  • Identify relevant tenders/RFPs/RFQs regularly.
  • Ensure product/service listings comply with GeM guidelines.

Bid Management:

  • Study tender documents and ensure compliance.
  • Coordinate with teams for pricing, documents, and approvals.
  • Prepare and submit technical/financial bids on time.
  • Track bid progress and submission deadlines.

Documentation & Compliance:

  • Ensure all statutory documents (MSME, PAN, GST, etc.) are up-to-date.
  • Manage bid records, correspondence, and documentation.
  • Handle vendor assessment and OEM authorizations as needed.

Client & Internal Coordination:

  • Communicate with government clients for queries and clarifications.
  • Attend pre-bid meetings and share updates with relevant departments.

Reporting & Analysis:

  • Maintain MIS reports on tender status and success ratio.
  • Analyze lost bids to identify improvement areas.

Key Skills Required:

  • Strong working knowledge of GeM portal and government procurement processes.
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Good documentation and time management abilities.
  • Capable of handling multiple bids and tight deadlines.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline (MBA or PG in Business/Supply Chain is a plus).
  • Prior experience with GeM and government e-tendering is mandatory.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹17,307.31 - ₹25,000.00 per month
