Tender Executive

The Tender Executive is responsible for identifying, evaluating, preparing, and submitting tenders, bids, and proposals related to government and private procurement opportunities . This role involves thorough market research, coordination with internal teams, and ensuring compliance with tender requirements to secure business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

Tender Identification & Evaluation

• Monitor government and private procurement portals for tender opportunities relevant to apparel manufacturing.
• Analyze tender documents, eligibility criteria, and technical & financial requirements.
• Conduct feasibility studies to assess profitability and risks before proceeding with bid submission.

Tender Preparation & Submission

• Coordinate with internal departments (Production, Quality, Finance, and Legal) to gather required documentation and cost estimates.
• Prepare technical and financial bid documents in line with tender specifications.
• Ensure timely submission of tenders, both online and offline, meeting all compliance and procedural requirements.

Documentation & Compliance

• Maintain and update company profiles, certifications, financial statements, and other documents required for tenders.
• Ensure all tenders comply with regulatory and statutory requirements.
• Follow up on tender clarifications, amendments, and pre-bid meetings.

Post-Tender Activities

• Track submitted tenders and follow up on bid status.
• Negotiate contract terms and pricing if the bid is shortlisted.
• Ensure smooth transition of awarded projects to the execution team.

Market Research & Competitor Analysis

• Analyze competitors bidding strategies and market trends.
• Identify new business opportunities and recommend pricing strategies.

Relationship Management

• Build strong relationships with government bodies, procurement agencies, and corporate clients.
• Liaise with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment in bidding strategies.

Preferred candidate profile

• 2-5 years of experience in tendering, bid management, or government procurement processes

• Knowledge of government e-procurement portals & bidding platforms.

• Strong understanding of tendering procedures and documentation.
