Telesales Representative

Position: Health Insurance Sales Executive Location: Kolkata Experience: 0–2Years About the Role We are looking for proactive and customer-oriented sales professionals to join Star Health Insurance. The role involves promoting health insurance products, identifying customer needs, and providing end-to-end assistance in policy sales and servicing. Candidates must be confident, target-driven, and able to build strong customer relationships. Key Responsibilities • Promote Star Health insurance products through tele sales • Explain product features, benefits, and pricing clearly to prospects • Identify customer needs and recommend suitable health insurance plans •  Convert potential prospects into customers • Manage end-to-end sales cycle including documentation & policy issuance • Maintain customer relationships and provide after-sales support • Achieve monthly sales targets and performance metrics Required Skills & Competencies • Good communication and interpersonal skills • Strong customer handling ability • Target-oriented and self-motivated • Negotiation & convincing skills • Basic computer knowledge Eligibility • Graduation preferred (HSC can be considered) • Experience in Insurance / Banking / Telecom / BFSI sales preferred • Freshers with good communication skills may also apply Benefits • Attractive salary + incentives • Career growth and internal promotions • Complete training and product certification • Medical benefits as per company policy Compensation • CTC: Up to ₹22,000 per month (depending on experience and selection criteria) • Attractive incentive structure based on performance
