About the Company



We are seeking a friendly and professional Admin Cum Front desk Executive to manage the front desk operations at Adyar branch. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for students, parents, and visitors, and will play a crucial role in creating a positive and welcoming environment.



About the Role



The Admin Cum Front desk Executive will be responsible for managing front desk operations and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for all visitors.



Responsibilities



  • Greet and welcome visitors, students, and parents with a warm and professional demeanor.
  • Answer phone calls and emails, providing information about our courses, schedules, and fees.
  • Manage inquiries and enrollments, ensuring accurate data entry and record keeping.
  • Handle fee collections and maintain accurate records of transactions.
  • Manage student attendance and maintain related records.
  • Coordinate with faculty and staff regarding student matters.
  • Maintain the front office area, ensuring it is clean, organized, and well-stocked with necessary materials.
  • Provide guidance on effective study skills, time management, and stress management techniques to enhance students' overall academic performance.
  • Collaboration: Coordinate with admissions teams, faculty members, and other relevant departments to ensure a cohesive approach in addressing students' needs and concerns.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate and organized records of counseling sessions, admission interactions, and follow-ups to track progress and measure the effectiveness of counseling efforts.
  • Orientation and Workshops: Assist in organizing orientation sessions and workshops for new students, introducing them to the coaching center's resources, facilities, and academic support services.
  • Continuous Learning: Stay informed about trends and developments in education, admissions processes, and coaching methodologies through ongoing professional development.
  • Handle administrative tasks such as filing, photocopying, and preparing documents.
  • Manage incoming and outgoing mail and couriers.


Qualifications



  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in related field.
  • Previous experience in academic counseling and student admissions.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Confidence and effectiveness in cold calling and outreach activities.
  • Empathetic, patient, and dedicated to student success.
  • Proficiency in documentation and use of relevant software (Ms Excel).
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team and independently.
  • Familiarity with the education sector and competitive exam coaching is a plus.
