Telecommunications Engineer

About the Role

We are looking for a highly skilled Telecommunication Engineer to join our team. The primary objective of this role is to ensure adherence to quality standards, design specifications, and committed project schedules while providing technical support to the Lead and Senior Engineers.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure strict adherence to Quality Assurance systems, design basis, standards, and specifications.
• Assist Lead/Senior Engineers in telecom engineering tasks.
• Ensure timely delivery of engineering deliverables in line with project schedules.
• Prepare and review specifications for:
• PA/GA systems, Telephone systems, LAN/IT networks, CCTV, Access Control Systems, EPABX systems, Wireless (UHF/VHF) radio systems, and Fiber Optics.
• Conduct Technical Bid Evaluations for telecom systems.
• Review vendor documents and technical submissions.
• Develop location layout drawings for telecom systems.
• Design Telecom Equipment Room Layouts and System Block Diagrams.
• Plan and execute tray/conduit routing and wiring.
• Design Communication Cabinets and High-Density Fiber Cabinets.
• Perform calculations including Power Load, Heat Rise, and dB Loss.
• Create schematic diagrams for fiber optic networks.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Instrumentation or Telecommunication Engineering.
• 6 to 12 years of experience in telecommunication engineering with proven exposure to the responsibilities listed above.
• Strong understanding of fiber optic network design, telecommunication systems, and related standards.
• Proficiency in reviewing vendor documentation and conducting technical evaluations.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and ensure compliance with quality and schedule requirements.
