Telecommunications Engineer or Technician This role involves working within the telecommunications sector , focusing on fixed and mobile networks . Responsibilities include fiber optic design, infrastructure development, and civil works permitting to support major telecom operators. A key aspect of the position is radio engineering , ensuring the constant evolution of mobile sites through 4G and 5G upgrades . Each network update requires project execution to maintain seamless operations for telecom providers. The role also involves collaborating with tower operators , managing leased infrastructure, and integrating solutions that enhance network reliability. The position requires strong technical expertise in mobile and fixed network design , as well as familiarity with telecom industry standards. Knowledge & Skills Mobile telecommunications : Equipment, design, various operators, and equipment providers. AutoCAD (required). MS Office . Programming skills (valuable). Mobile network expertise . Technical knowledge of infrastructure and equipment at mobile sites . Familiarity with mobile operators (ideally those in Spain). 5G mobile network site design . 5G mobile network design . Focus on the physical design of the network . Competencies Analytical thinking. Organizational skills. Efficient time management. Attention to detail. Problem-solving. Teamwork. Effective communication. Experience Minimum experience: 1 year in a similar environment or project. Project Key Factors Quality: Maintain high standards. Client perception: Avoid inefficiencies. Communication & economic model: Adapted to business conditions. Value-based payment: Ensure seamless integration with the client’s operations. Education & Qualifications Technical training in telecommunications or similar . Technical or higher engineering degree or equivalent technical qualification (experience is valued). Work Conditions Mode: Remote. Schedule: Initial training phase: Monday–Friday, 8 AM – 6 PM (Spain time) → 11:30 AM – 9:30 PM (India time) .
