Telecaller Roles and ResponsibilitiesJob Summary:

A Telecaller is responsible for contacting potential or existing customers over the phone to inform them about products or services, answer queries, and generate leads or sales. They play a key role in customer engagement and relationship building.

Key Responsibilities:

• Make outbound calls to potential or existing customers to inform them about products/services.
• Handle inbound inquiries and resolve customer questions and complaints.
• Follow up on leads generated through marketing campaigns.
• Maintain records of calls and useful information in CRM software.
• Meet daily, weekly, and monthly targets for call volume and conversions.
• Provide accurate information and handle objections professionally.
• Upsell or cross-sell products when appropriate.
• Maintain a positive and respectful tone with customers.
• Escalate complex queries to the appropriate department or supervisor.
• Adhere to company policies and quality standards during calls.

Skills Required:

• Excellent verbal communication and listening skills.
• Ability to handle rejection and remain calm under pressure.
• Basic computer knowledge (MS Office, CRM tools).
• Good negotiation and persuasion skills.
• Fluency in regional language(s) and/or English/Hindi.
• Time management and multitasking abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Minimum 12th pass; Graduate preferred.
• Prior experience in tele calling, customer service, or sales is an advantage.
