Telecaller – Counselling Support

Working Days: Monday to Saturday Timings: 9:30 AM to 6:30 PMMode of Work: Work from OfficeAbout the Role:We are looking for enthusiastic and confident Telecallers to join our team at PenCap. In this role, you will connect with students and working professionals, understand their interests and career goals, and guide them toward suitable Cybersecurity and Skill-based programs. Your key responsibility will be to build rapport, create trust, and schedule counselling sessions with our Career Advisors.This role requires strong communication skills, active listening, and a student-first mindset.Key Responsibilities:1.Make outbound calls to students and working professionals to explain our Cybersecurity and skill development programs.2.Understand their career goals, learning needs, and motivations for upskilling.3.Schedule virtual counselling or demo sessions with our Career Advisors.4.Maintain accurate call logs, follow-ups, and lead status in the CRM system.5.Ensure high student engagement and achieve set targets through effective communication and follow-through.6.Coordinate closely with the counselling team to ensure smooth session scheduling and lead handover.Requirements:1.Minimum 6 months – 2 years of experience in telecalling / customer service / EdTech sales preferred.2.Excellent verbal communication skills in English (knowledge of Tamil or other regional languages is an added advantage).3.Strong listening ability with a consultative and empathetic approach toward student queries.4.Ability to handle rejections professionally and maintain a positive, goal-oriented mindset.5.Basic computer proficiency with experience in CRM tools, lead tracking, and documentation.Why Join Us:-Opportunity to work with one of the fastest-growing EdTech organizations.-Attractive incentives and performance-based rewards.-Positive and growth-oriented work environment.
