Telecaller Counselling Support

As a Telecaller at PenCap in Chennai, you will play a crucial role in connecting with students and working professionals, understanding their career goals, and guiding them towards suitable Cybersecurity and Skill-based programs. Your main responsibilities will include making outbound calls, scheduling counselling sessions, and maintaining accurate call logs. To excel in this role, you will need strong communication skills, active listening abilities, and a student-first mindset. Key Responsibilities: - Make outbound calls to explain Cybersecurity and skill development programs - Understand career goals, learning needs, and motivations for upskilling - Schedule virtual counselling or demo sessions with Career Advisors - Maintain accurate call logs, follow-ups, and lead status in the CRM system - Ensure high student engagement and achieve set targets through effective communication - Coordinate closely with the counselling team for smooth session scheduling and lead handover Qualifications Required: - Minimum 6 months to 2 years of experience in telecalling, customer service, or EdTech sales preferred - Excellent verbal communication skills in English with knowledge of Tamil or other regional languages as an added advantage - Strong listening ability with a consultative and empathetic approach towards student queries - Ability to handle rejections professionally and maintain a positive, goal-oriented mindset - Basic computer proficiency with experience in CRM tools, lead tracking, and documentation Joining PenCap offers you the opportunity to work with a rapidly growing EdTech organization, attractive incentives, and a positive work environment focused on growth and success.
