Job Description Telecaller (Insurance) Role Overview As an Insurance & Wellness Telecaller, you will engage with existing and potential customers to educate them about relevant insurance and wellness offerings, qualify leads, drive sales/renewals/subscriptions, and assist in post-sale documentation. The role requires strong product knowledge, customer engagement skills, and adherence to process and compliance guidelines. Key Responsibilities (KRAs) • • Make outbound/inbound calls to promote insurance and wellness products/services. Explain product features, benefits, pricing, coverage, claim process, exclusions, and usage guidelines in a simple and clear manner. • Qualify leads as per defined eligibility parameters and recommend the best-suited plans/services. • • • Cross-sell / up-sell suitable offerings to existing customers. Log lead details and maintain accurate records in CRM/other internal systems. Coordinate with branches/operations/CPU teams/vendors for processing, activation, and servicing. • • • Collect and verify required customer documents to ensure complete files. Clear pendencies by following up with customers and internal teams. Assist customers with insurance renewals / wellness subscription renewals and encourage timely continuation. • • Handle customer questions and objections effectively, ensuring clarity and confidence. Ensure customers receive product details, policy copies, and onboarding support as required. • • Maintain compliance with IRDAI guidelines and internal quality standards; ensure no mis-selling. Achieve allocated monthly targets (sales / renewals / conversions). Skills & Competencies • Excellent verbal communication in Hindi & English; regional language is an advantage. • • Strong persuasion and objection-handling ability. Ability to understand customer needs and clearly explain insurance & wellness solutions. • • • Good coordination/documentation skills for processing and servicing. Basic computer knowledge CRM, MS Office, and policy/partner portals. Customer-centric approach and positive attitude.

Qualification & Experience
• • • Minimum 12th pass; graduate preferred. Experience in BFSI / Insurance / Wellness telecalling preferred but not mandatory. IRDAI certification is an advantage.
