Description
Develop accurate 3D models using Tekla Structures for structural steel or reinforced concrete projects. Create detailed shop drawings, GA drawings, and fabrication details. Perform clash detection, coordinate with other disciplines (MEP, architecture). Generate Bill of Materials (BOM) and CNC data for fabrication. Interpret and apply engineering drawings, project specifications, and design standards. Collaborate with structural engineers, project managers, and fabrication teams. Manage project documentation and ensure version control of models. Maintain compliance with industry codes and project standards. Technical Skills: Proficiency in Tekla Structures (minimum 2 years of hands-on experience). Strong understanding of structural detailing, connections, and construction techniques. Familiarity with international detailing standards (e.g., AISC, BS, Eurocode). Knowledge of 3D BIM coordination and file management (IFC, DWG, etc.). Ability to read and interpret structural and architectural drawings. Experience with other software is a plus: AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks, or STAAD. Soft Skills: Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Good communication and teamwork skills. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines. Preferred Experience : Experience with precast concrete detailing, rebar modeling, or steel connections. Experience working on international projects (Middle East, Europe, US, etc.).
