Electrical Controls Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and draft 

  wiring diagrams, schematics, and panel layouts

   using AutoCAD Electrical or similar tools.
• Build, wire, and troubleshoot 

  industrial control panels

   including relays, power supplies, contactors, and I/O.
• Interpret and implement 

  PLC wiring diagrams

   and electrical integration for solenoid valves, push buttons, and indicator lights.
• Integrate and support 

  electro-pneumatic systems

   used in automated mechanical equipment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including all team members.
• Ensure 

  electrical safety

   compliance (e.g., UL508A, NEC, NRTLs, NFPA 70) (RCM)
• Maintain documentation including 

  Bill of Materials (BOMs), panel layout drawings, and test procedures

  .
• Assist in 

  troubleshooting

   and resolving issues related to panel wiring and automation controls.
• Perform 

  loop checks, continuity checks, and functional tests

   during panel assembly and system startup.

•      Independently addressed all queries and questions from clients.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelors Degree in 

  Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field

   (or equivalent experience).

• 25 years

   of experience in control panel design and industrial electrical systems.
• Strong experience with 

  AutoCAD Electrical

   for panel design and documentation.
• Familiarity with 

  120VAC / 24VDC control systems

  , relays, PLCs, terminal blocks, and sensors.
• Ability to read and interpret 

  wiring schematics, junction box diagrams, and PLC I/O layouts

  .
• Experience working with 

  pneumatics and solenoid valves

   in automated systems.
• Solid understanding of 

  electrical codes, standards, and safety practices

  .

Preferred Qualifications:

• Basic knowledge of 

  PLC programming

   (e.g., Allen Bradley, Siemens) is a plus.
• Experience with 

  safety relay wiring

  , emergency stop circuits, and field wiring best practices.
• Familiarity with 

  industrial communication protocols

   and sensor integration.

Tools & Technologies:

• AutoCAD Electrical
• Multimeter, continuity tester, wire crimping tools
• PLC platforms (Allen Bradley, Siemens desirable)
• Electrical components: relays, push buttons, solenoids, terminal blocks
