Job Description

As an individual in Assessment & Design at our organization, you will be responsible for developing, designing, and implementing controls programs. Your role will involve providing review and guidance on robust controls design in adherence to Citis Policies, Standards, and Frameworks. You will be expected to proactively identify and drive controls enhancements, such as automation, standardization, and rationalization, including transformation execution activities. Your duties will include first-line activities for the identification, measurement (significance and likelihood), and ongoing assessment of key risks and controls in partnership with relevant process owners to drive management decisions to operate within the firm's Risk Appetite. Your main responsibilities will include supporting the design and development of Citi's comprehensive controls program, assessing the effectiveness of existing controls, driving and managing controls enhancements, coordinating with key stakeholders and relevant process owners to maintain operations within the firm's Risk Appetite, assessing business/function risk appetite, collaborating with stakeholders to assess potential risks, and developing risk mitigation activities. You will also be involved in executing Enterprise Risk Management Framework and ensuring adherence with Risk Management/Compliance Policies. Staying updated on regulatory changes and industry best practices related to control management will be crucial. Additionally, you will provide regular updates to senior management on the performance of the controls assessment and design. To qualify for this role, you should have a minimum of 5-8 years of experience in Technology controls regulatory & monitoring, risk management, compliance, audit, or other control-related functions in the financial services industry. You should possess the ability to identify, measure, and manage key risks and controls, along with a strong knowledge of control development and execution. Understanding compliance laws, rules, regulations, and best practices is essential, as is familiarity with Citis Policies, Standards, and Procedures. Analytical skills, strong verbal and written communication abilities, problem-solving skills, decision-making skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office suite are also required for this role. A Bachelor's/University degree or equivalent experience is necessary, with knowledge and experience in managing Technology Processes and related controls. Familiarity with Software Development Lifecycle, COBIT, and relevant frameworks will be advantageous.
